\n\tIn conversation with hosts Zane Lowe and Ebro Darden, the Puerto Rican superstar shared his excitement of finally being able to reveal the big secret, admitting his emotional reaction when showing the announcement video to close friends.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was keeping this secret for so long and it felt good,\u201d Bad Bunny tells the two hosts. \u201cI\u2019m really excited for my friends, my family, Puerto Rico \u2014 all the Latino people around the world. I\u2019m excited about my culture, not just for me. The beach where we record is my hometown beach, so it\u2019s a very special thing for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBeing the first all-Spanish-performing artist to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show is a monumental moment for Bad Bunny, one he approaches with purpose and pride in representing his country and culture. \u201cOf course everywhere I go, I always represent my country, my music,\u201d he says. \u201cI really am figuring out what I\u2019m going to do on this show. But it\u2019s going to be good.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOne of the standout moments of the interview came when the artist recounted receiving the call from Jay-Z confirming his headlining role. \u201cIt\u2019s crazy because I was in the middle of a workout. So I remember that after the call, I just did like a hundred pull ups. I didn\u2019t need more pre-workout s\u2013t or whatever. It was very special,\u201d Bad Bunny said.<\/p>\n

\n\tHe continued: \u201cIt\u2019s also the result of just do things with heart. I\u2019m always doing my best and working with so much passion. I\u2019m still working. I\u2019m a rookie. I\u2019m still hungry to conquer and to show what I can do to the people. It\u2019s crazy \u2018cause I think everyone already knows what I\u2019m capable to do. But I\u2019m still one to surprise.\u201d<\/p>\n
