\n\tDoja Cat <\/a>released her Vie <\/em>album <\/a>last week, and she played a round of F\u2014k, Marry, Kill when it comes to her albums as part of her Interview <\/em>magazine feature on Wednesday (Oct. 1).<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cF\u2014k, Marry, Kill:\u00a0Vie<\/em>,\u00a0Scarlet,<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Planet Her<\/em>,\u201d Interview Mag<\/em>\u2018s <\/a>Ary Russell asked Doja. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Grammy-winning artist ended up swapping Scarlet<\/em> out for her 2018 project Amala<\/em> before answering. \u201cThat\u2019s not fair. You should have put\u00a0Amala<\/em>\u00a0in there\u00a0instead of\u00a0Scarlet<\/em>,\u201d she replied. \u201cKill\u00a0Amala<\/em>. F\u2014k\u00a0Vie<\/em>. Marry\u00a0Planet Her<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIt seems she\u2019s favoring her 2021 album, as Planet Her<\/em> was filled with hits like \u201cKiss Me More,\u201d \u201cNeed to Know,\u201d \u201cWoman\u201d and \u201cGet Into It.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cKiss Me More\u201d features an assist from SZA and went on to notch both artists their first Grammy win in the best pop duo\/group performance\u00a0category, while \u201cWoman and \u201cGet Into It\u201d cracked the Billboard Hot 100\u2019s top 10. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI wanted to kind of go outside of what I understood [or] what I knew as pop aesthetic or rap aesthetic. I wanted to quite literally travel outside of the planet,\u201d Doja told MTV news<\/em> of PH<\/em>. \u201cWhen it comes to the videos and choice of words and melodies and combinations musically, I wanted it to feel different. I wanted it to feel otherworldly.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tVie<\/em> serves as Doja\u2019s fifth studio album and the LP arrived on Friday (Sept. 29) and the 15-track album features a lone reunion with SZA on \u201cTake Me Dancing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s fabulous to just be able to enjoy it with other people,\u201d she said to Interview<\/a><\/em> about the project finally being out. \u201cBecause I can be in my house on the couch listening to it, but it\u2019s nothing like hearing other people be like, \u2018Oh my god, I love that part.\u2019 Or them knowing the lyrics even is so invigorating. I love when people know already. It\u2019s amazing to hear people rap it back to me or sing it back to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDoja will be hitting the road in support of the album for her Tour Ma Vie World Tour<\/a>, which kicks off with legs in Australia and Asia in November before heading to South America in 2026. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
