\n\tBob Vylan<\/a> has said that he is \u201cnot regretful\u201d of his \u201cdeath, death to the IDF\u201d chant at Glastonbury Festival earlier this year<\/a>, and said he would \u201cdo it again tomorrow, twice on Sundays.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBobby Vylan \u2013 frontman of the British punk duo \u2013 appeared on The Louis Theroux Podcast<\/a> <\/em>to speak at length about the incident and the subsequent fall-out from their performance on the West Holts stage on June 28. The chant makes reference to the Israeli Defense Forces, and was subsequently investigated by Avon and Somerset police.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe chant was condemned by Glastonbury Festival and U.K. prime minister Keir Starmer, who described it as \u201cappalling hate speech.\u201d After the festival, Bob Vylan said in a statement: \u201cWe are not for the death of Jews, Arabs or any other race or group of people. We are for the dismantling of a violent military machine.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe band\u2019s U.S. visas were subsequently revoked by the state department and they were dropped by their agent UTA<\/a>. A number of live performances including one at a Manchester festival<\/a> and one in Amsterdam were cancelled following the chant.<\/p>\n

\n\tSpeaking on the podcast, Bobby (real name Pascal Robinson-Foster) said that he did not regret the chant and he would do it again. \u201cLike what if I was to go to Glastonbury again tomorrow? Yes I would do it again. I\u2019m not regretful of it. I\u2019d do it again tomorrow, twice on Sundays. I\u2019m not regretful of it at all, like the subsequent backlash that I\u2019ve faced. It\u2019s minimal. It\u2019s minimal compared to what people in Palestine are going through,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
